Overview

The role of a Return-to-Work (RTW) Specialist is to provide specialist claim and return to work expertise to a portfolio of complex worker’s compensation claims.

The role works closely alongside a driven and highly successful team of Client Executives / Client Managers who will be aligned to the clients within your portfolio, and you will be reporting directly to Client Director, Workers Compensation.

You will act as the Return-to-Work Coordinator for client/s, or an escalation point for their internal RTW Coordinator, to assist in driving outcomes. Your role will include handling the ongoing management of workers compensation claims and providing technical advice to clients around RTW and legal

Key Accountabilities

• You will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of return-to-work programs and individual worker plans, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, organisational initiatives, and divisional business needs.

• Actively manage a portfolio of clients requiring RTW case management.

• Where required by the client, you will manage the weekly/fortnightly wage management process of injured workers with the relevant payroll departments.

• Provide case management advice and coaching to Clients and injured employees

Skills | Education| Qualifications

• Allied health qualification or experience from a relevant field

• Workcover & or WorkSafe/SIRA accredited RTW qualification (desirable)
