Family business is the backbone of Australia, and it’s an honour to partner with so many amazing family businesses all across the country.
When it comes to our role in Family Business, it’s not as simple as business risk, or simple insurance advice. It’s about understanding the DNA of the business: the legacy, the family, and the future, and protecting the business and assets that are central to the family’s success and happiness.
When you think of insurance in that light, it makes it a lot more personal. And that is the GSA difference…..
Our Family Business clients come in all shapes and sizes:
Merivale, Marrickville Freezers, AH Beard, Anything Residential, Hakka Foods, Grace Funerals, Poulos Bros Seafoods, IQ Gecko, Dyson Group of Companies, SCT Logistics, The SILC Grou
GSA is a specialist insurance broker and risk advisor focused on supporting family businesses understand their insurances and mitigate their risk in an intentional and cost-effective manner.

With 130+ staff, GSA operates from their offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Newcastle, and services clients throughout Australia.

Family businesses are determined to succeed despite the ups and downs across many generations. GSA are equally determined to fight for our clients – whether that is negotiating better premiums, or getting a claim paid.

We bring a mindset that challenges the status quo and looking beyond standard solutions. We aim to surprise clients with better ways to solve problems, and come up with cost effective outcomes.
We value the voices of those we work with, and their feedback reflects our commitment to quality, collaboration, and meaningful impact. So, here are a few testimonials shared by those we’ve worked with, reflecting their experiences and feedback on our services and impact.
“The family business sector is built on relationships – trust, loyalty and reliability, so it is very important to us that our Partners embody these qualities when dealing with our members. We have found GSA to have these qualities (and more) by the bucket load and we feel totally confident when we refer our members to their care for all their insurance needs. GSA really gets to know their clients on a personal as well as business basis, which enables them to form a total partnership with clients and make sure that they recommend the most appropriate and beneficial products and services. Plus – the individuals at GSA are just really nice people to be with and to do business with!”

Our chosen charity is KidsXpress. This is a dynamic, expressive therapy program that offers a non- threatening and creative environment to children aged 4–14 years who are experiencing difficulty, loss, challenge or trauma. KidsXpress empowers children by providing an opportunity for self-expression through the use of music, art, dance and drama therapies.
“KidsXpress provides a non-judgemental space for children in need to unleash their potential, and as our founder and Principal Sponsor, GSA not only provided financial and managerial support to establish this dynamic charity, but also provided the platform from which KidsXpress was created. Nothing typifies the unique GSA attitude more than this.”
