Account Manager - General Insurance

Starting Time Period:

GSA are looking for an Account Manager (SME Type Account) to join our General Insurance Division.

Your main responsibilities will include;

  • Building and maintaining close relationships with your Clients
  • Providing a high level of customer service and advice to all clients across the portfolio
  • Scheduling and attending meetings and understanding the specific requirements of insurance cover for the clients
  • Management, support and training of Account Broker and Assistant Account Broker
  • Arrange specialised types of insurance cover in complex cases
  • Manage the insurance marketing process and ensure optimum outcomes
  • Prepare Renewal and New Business reports


Our ideal candidates will have:

  • A Tier 1 Qualification
  • A very strong understanding of Insurance Broking
  • Strong account management skills specifically within General Insurance
  • Pride in yourself and your attention to detail, organisational skills and insistence on quality in everything you do.
  • Self-motivated and personal drive and ambition
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
  • Effective consulting, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
