As at the 1st January 2008, GSA acquired the broking portfolio of J Brockhouse and Associates. This brokerage has a long standing reputation as a service driven provider to large private commercial businesses, and specialising in construction
and transport sectors.

The cultural fit makes this an excellent addition to the GSA Group and will enhance the service provided to clients of both organisations. All Brockhouse staff have been retained and bring to GSA a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Secondly, after years of friendship dating back to their days working together at CGU, CEO Paul Hines and Burlington Insurance Broker’s Joe Chiarella, joined together professionally once again with GSA’s acquisition of Burlington on the 31st March 2008.
