Paul Hines is the owner and CEO of General Security Australia Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd (GSA). In November 2009 Paul joined the Australian Direct Property Investment Association (ADPIA) Board. At the (NIBA) National Insurance Brokers Association's annual Gala Ball, Paul Hines was awarded 2008 NSW QPIB Broker of the year. 
Paul commenced his insurance career with Commercial Union (now CGU) working in various Management positions, before leaving to join GSA as an equity partner. He has been CEO for over 10 years and became sole owner in 2007.
Paul founded a children’s charity, “KidsXpress Limited” in 2005 and he remains a major sponsor and Voluntary Deputy Chairman, being replaced as Chairman by his business mentor, Dr John Hewson.
Paul holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and is a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP).
